Hi everyone! My name is Kendall Robinson and I am a freshman at West Orange High School.
This is my blog for my TEDxWOHS project that we are doing in our English class. During this project, our classes are going to be watching 5 TED Talks that interest us and we will be reflecting on them. Watching the videos will lead up to us writing and presenting our own TED Talk to our class at the end of this school year.
So since the question that we will answer in our TEDx Talk at the end of the year is “What Matters (To Me)?”, I am going to introduce myself and tell you what I am interested in. I am mainly interested in psychology, performing arts, and writing and if I had to answer the question “What Matters (To Me)?” at this moment, my answer would be psychology and the importance of mental health awareness in our society.
At the end of this project, I hope that I have learned more about psychology than I know now and more about how we can raise awareness for mental illnesses and stop the stigmas that are put on mental illnesses in our society.
I hope that I can learn a lot from this project and I am excited to begin watching and reviewing the TED Talks I have chosen.
Until next time,
Kendall Robinson
